Important Information
Details that may affect you and your pet when you next pay us a visit.
Some of our patients are receiving long term treatment and eligible for ‘repeat prescriptions’.
Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequent.
If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 24 hours before you would like to collect this. This may be done by calling the surgery.
Please note we ask for at least one working days’ notice, so that our staff have the opportunity to order specifically should we need to, but also to ensure that the medicine is still appropriate for your pet, and to arrange a recheck if necessary.
– Brexit Update
If the UK leaves the EU without a deal then it is likely that EU pet passports issued by a UK Official Veterinarian will no longer be valid.
An Animal Health Certificate will need to be issued instead, this certificate would be valid for:
- A single trip
- 10 days after the date of issue for entry into the EU
- 4 months of onward travel with the EU after the date of entry to the EU
- Re-entry to the UK for 4 months after the date of issue
Client Information Regarding Pet Insurance

- In order for us to be able to process a direct claim on your behalf with payment to the practice you must provide the following: a copy of your policy certificate, a claims form, and sign a claiming direct form. (Vet to provide).
- If your insurance declines the direct claim amount we process, you will be liable to pay the outstanding amount.
